NEWS RELEASES - Back to main news page. ELKAY PLASTICS OBTAINS ISO 9001-2000 CERTIFICATION FOR ITS CHICAGO REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION AND SERVICE CENTER. In December, 2005 Elkay Plastics passed certification audits for its Chicago Distribution and Service Center to become a Certified ISO 9001-2000 distribution and service facility. The Chicago facility is the regional distribution facility for all Elkay branch distribution centers East of the Mississippi River. The Chicago facility now stands with the Elkay Headquarters Distribution and Service Center in Los Angeles, California (which serves Elkay's distribution centers West of the Mississippi River) to offer certified continued improvement in the quality of its products and services on a national distribution basis.
